If the client cancels the tour after paying the deposit, he/she shall compensate the agency for management expenses (equal to the deposit) together with those justified cancellation expenses that the agency must afford and a penalty that will consist of a 5% of the total price of the tour if cancellation occurs between 15 and 10 days prior to departure, a 15% between 10 and 3 days, a 25% within the last 2 days and a 100 % if the client is not present at the starting point and time of the route. In any case, the agency will revert on the client those economical consequences caused by cancellation in case of special contracting conditions, if this was clearly explained in the publicity of the route or was clarified when making the reservation. Cancellations due to medical reasons can be covered by travel insurance, which is strongly recommended. Full refunds will be made if Viajes Solymar cancels the tour, unless caused by "force major". If the minimum group size is not reached then the agency will give the choice, 15 days prior to departure, to either being fully refunded or accepting a group surcharge and continue with the tour.
